Policies
These policies help me run a practice that respects your time and mine, so please take a moment to read through them before booking. You'll also review and sign off on each of these as part of your intake.

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for any schedule changes or cancellations. When you cancel or miss an appointment without that notice, we're often unable to fill the time — which affects your therapist and any other clients who could have used that slot. For this reason:
Late or same-day cancellations are charged 50% of the service fee
No-shows are charged 100% of the service fee
We require a credit card on file to book appointments, so these fees can be charged if needed.
We understand emergencies and illness happen. If you have a fever, a known infection, or have experienced vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours of your appointment, please cancel your session. The same goes for inclement weather — we'll do our best to give advance notice if we need to close, and we ask the same of you. Please don't risk your safety to make an appointment. Late cancellations due to emergency, illness, or weather generally won't result in a charge, but these are handled case-by-case.
-
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your appointment to allow time for proper intake.
We understand things come up. If you're running late, please call so we can do our best to accommodate you. Since appointment times are reserved for each client, we often can't extend past your scheduled time without affecting the next person's session — so arriving late may mean a shorter massage, ending at the originally scheduled time. Full service fees apply even when a session is shortened due to late arrival.
In return, we'll do our best to be on time. If we're running behind, we'll add time to your session or adjust your service charge accordingly.
-
Massage therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposes only — there is no sexual component to it, ever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of the session and refusal of all future services, with the full service fee still charged regardless of session length. Depending on the behavior, we may also involve local authorities.
Treat your therapist with respect and dignity, and you'll be treated the same in return.

A signed copy of this waiver is completed as part of your intake before your first session. It's included here so you can review it in advance.

I have provided my therapist with an accurate and complete medical history and agree to inform my therapist of any new diagnoses, or changes in my health or medications.

I understand that I or the massage therapist may terminate the session at any time.
I release the massage therapist and business from all liability for any harm that may unintentionally result from this treatment.
I further understand that massage therapy is not a substitute for a medical examination or treatment, and that I should see a physician or other qualified health specialist for any mental or physical ailment of which I am aware. I understand that massage therapists do not diagnose illness or disease, and nothing said during the treatment should be construed as such. My consent is informed and voluntary and I understand that I may withdraw my consent at any time except for actions already taken.
