I got interested in massage therapy young. I was a theatre and band kid, and massage trains during rehearsals were just part of the routine. People kept telling me I gave a good massage. I filed that away.

A few years after high school, I looked into massage therapy as a career. The people around me had other plans for me: go to college, do something with "more potential." So I did. And I have a bachelor's degree I don’t use.

At 21, I threw out my back helping a roommate clean a bathroom. Doctors and medication were no help. Massage therapy did. That experience planted something in me that's still core to how I practice today.

I spent my 20s and early 30s following what everyone else wanted for my life, before I finally admitted what I'd always wanted: to work for myself, doing something that actually fit who I am. Massage therapy was still there, waiting. Rose Quartz Massage & Wellness is what came of that.
