services Overview & Pricing

Bodywork Offerings

  • A full-body massage meant to relax the body and mind, activating the parasympathetic nervous system. This service uses long, flowing Swedish massage strokes with light to medium pressure and does not usually involve assessing pain points or treating trigger points, knots, etc.

This is a great service for those who just need to take some time to relax, let their brain turn off, maybe escape from the world for a little while, and enjoy some self care.

  • For the person who has specific discomfort or pain to be assessed and focused on. This massage may or may not be full-body, depending on the time booked and issue(s) presented, but it can be full-body with extra time spent on relevant focus areas. This massage may use a variety of techniques and tools to address the client’s complaint.

  • People who are neurodiverse, have chronic pain, and/or have autoimmune conditions tend to have chronically tight and tender muscles from constantly being in fight or flight mode. In these sessions, we work on releasing those areas of connective tissue using myofascial techniques and working to soothe the nervous system at the same time.

This type of session is an excellent complement to other mental health therapies such as talk therapy, hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, etc. If you’re not already using other therapies, I can help connect you with practitioners who can help.

  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage is not strictly massage but a different type of bodywork targeting the lymphatic system, specifically the lymphatic vessels just under the skin. This modality uses light pressure to stimulate lymph movement through the system so it can be filtered and returned to the blood.

This modality is a great option for those dealing with fibromyalgia, post-traumatic swelling, lipedema, migraines, inflammatory conditions, and even cellulite.

My MLD bodywork is based on sequences from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, so these services are priced based on an estimated duration of service, but the actual sequence may not take the entire estimated time to complete.

  • Massage services are primarily priced by length of session. Add-ons with a price add time to your session and/or require specialty consumable products I wouldn’t normally use. Available add-ons that do not have a price are there so you can request a specific technique and/or tool that is otherwise included in the session pricing.
